Managed dedicated server hosting for Windows, in Fort Lauderdale.
Your Windows Server, SQL and VMware workloads, copied exactly as they are onto hardware we build and own, in a SOC 2 Type II data center, connected to every one of your offices by private AT&T and Comcast fiber. Patching, backup, replica and on-call included. One monthly number, locked for the term.
This is what Sigma Underwriting has bought from us for 15 years, and Armellini Express Lines for 10.
Six things you get. None of them metered.
Dedicated hardware we build and own
Specified for your workload after we have looked at what you run — Windows Server, SQL, RDS, VMware, the lot. Your own rack for larger estates; your own air-gapped hardware, co-located, for smaller ones. Never a slice of a shared box, never a reseller's VPS.
Your servers, copied as-is
Same names, same IPs, same logins, same applications. Your internal LAN comes with you, so no static IP changes, no re-pointing, no retraining. Staff log in exactly as they did.
Private fiber to every office
Enterprise fiber delivered with AT&T and Comcast from the data center to each of your sites — hub and spoke, low latency, so every office is on the LAN with the servers. Site-to-site VPN only where fiber genuinely cannot reach.
Patching, backup, replica, on-call
Operating-system and hypervisor patching, replicated backup with an off-net copy, a replica at a second site, and a senior engineer on-call. The people who built the environment are the people who answer.
Firewall and your own public IPs
Firewall and edge managed by us; a dedicated public IP block assigned to you through the data center, so anything you publish stays put when you move.
The extras, inside the number
Phones, special circuits, odd hardware — the one-off pieces every business has are scoped up front and included in the monthly figure, not billed by surprise.
Conversation
We sit down with you and look at what you run, where it lives today — closet, colo, another host — and what each office needs to reach it.
Build and connect
We spec and build your hardware in-house for that workload, and bring AT&T and Comcast fiber from the data center to each site.
Copy
Your VMs copy across over the fiber while you keep working. Slowly, deliberately, nothing converted.
Switch over
One planned evening. Your old servers stay in place until you tell us to retire them — rollback is there if it is ever needed. So far it has not been.
As far as your staff can tell, the servers moved from the closet to the data center. Nothing else changed.
How the number works.
We do not publish a price list, because the number depends on what you run and how many sites need to reach it. We do publish how it behaves once it is set.
One monthly number
Hosting, the fiber connections and your extras, priced together after the conversation.
Locked for the term
Two- or three-year agreement, and the price does not move for the length of it. We commit to our carriers for the same period, which is how we get the rate.
Nothing metered
No per-GB, no per-core, no bandwidth bill at the end of the month. Usage changes; the number does not.
When the paperwork arrives, we answer for you.
A few times a year, someone asks our clients to prove things about their systems.
- An insurer wants the data center's SOC 2 report.
- An auditor wants proof the backups ran and the replica is current.
- Someone wants the list of who can log in, and when that list was last reviewed.
Our clients forward it to us. We fill in our part from the systems we run, sit down with them to confirm it, and it goes back done.
Armellini Express Lines
Several times a yearThe questionnaire arrives — usually from an insurer. The section about servers, backups and access is ours. We pull the SOC 2 paperwork from the data center, the backup and replication records from the systems we run, and the user-access list, fill in our part, and send it back. Nobody at Armellini has to go looking for a backup log.
Sigma Underwriting Managers
More often, and deeperSigma is owned by Brown & Brown, a publicly traded company with its own security policies and its own security team. Sigma is one of the few divisions that still runs its own IT — and we are that IT. So we follow Brown & Brown's policies, work alongside their security team to put them in place, and show up as part of the team when corporate IT comes asking.
The packet arrives
The office manager at Sigma gets the full audit packet. One section is about data and workloads — that section is ours.
She emails it to us
We fill in our part from the systems we run: the data center's SOC 2 report, backup and replication records, who has access and when it was reviewed.
We sit down together
A meeting to go through every answer and confirm it is right, before anything is submitted.
She takes it from there
The packet goes back to the insurer, the auditor or corporate — with our section done. That is inside the monthly number, not an add-on.
Two carriers at every site
AT&T and Comcast fiber to each office, so a cut line fails over instead of taking you down.
A data center that fails over too
Blended fiber at the facility, and your hardware replicated to a second data center over fiber.
Burst capacity on demand
AT&T offers burst fiber for one-time events — a migration weekend, a big data pull — as a scoped one-off.
Questions we get on the first call.
If yours is not here, it is a thirty-minute conversation with an engineer, not a rep.
Book the conversation- Is this a dedicated server or a VPS?
- Dedicated. The hardware is built by Phoenix, owned by Phoenix, and runs only your workloads — air-gapped from every other client. Larger estates get their own rack.
- Do we have to change IP addresses or re-join machines to the domain?
- No. We copy your environment exactly — same subnet, same static IPs, same domain, same logins — and connect your offices to it over private fiber so everything is on one LAN, as before.
- What happens to our old servers?
- They stay where they are, powered off or on, until you tell us to retire them. That is your rollback. In practice we have not needed it.
- Is the fiber included in the price?
- Yes. Fiber to each office is part of the monthly number, and it is locked for the same two- or three-year term because our carrier commitment runs the same length.
- Our insurer sends us an IT questionnaire every year. Do you help with it?
- Yes, and it is included. Send us the section about servers, backups and access. We fill it in from the systems we run for you — the data center's SOC 2 report, backup and replication records, the user-access list — then go through it with you before it goes back. We do this several times a year for our hosting clients.
- Where is the hardware?
- In Flexential's SOC 2 Type II data center at 5301 NW 33rd Ave, Fort Lauderdale — a third-party colocation facility where Phoenix-owned hardware runs. Visits to the cage are by appointment.
- Who answers when something breaks?
- A senior Phoenix engineer — the same people who built your environment — in English, Spanish or Portuguese. 24/7 for hosted clients.
Windows Server 2016 reaches end of support. Moving it as-is onto hosted hardware is one of three options — talk to an engineer before the deadline →
Tell us what you run. We'll tell you the number.
Roughly how many servers or VMs, which Windows Server versions, where they live today, and how many offices need to reach them. An engineer replies within one business day.
