Custom business software · North Bay, California

Custom software for Sonoma County businesses, built here in Rohnert Park.

A CRM with only the parts you use. A job app your crew runs from their phones. A portal that reads the database you already have. Phoenix Studio builds it with AI, hosts it, backs it up and rolls it back if a change goes wrong, and we will sit down with you in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, San Rafael or Napa to get it right.

30-day free trial, by request. Plans from $99 a month. Or have us build the first version with you.

Where we work

Sonoma, Marin and Napa, in person.

Phoenix Studio is run from Rohnert Park. Most of the North Bay is within an hour's drive, and the first conversation about your software is better had at your counter, your shop or your tasting room than on a web form.

Sonoma County

Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Petaluma, Windsor, Healdsburg, Sebastopol, Sonoma and Cotati

Marin County

San Rafael, Novato, Mill Valley, Larkspur and Sausalito

Napa County

Who builds their own

The North Bay runs on small businesses with specific problems.

The software you need either doesn't exist, or it exists as a subscription built for a company ten times your size, where you pay for all of it and use a tenth. Either way, the person closest to the problem is the right person to build the fix. These are the businesses we see most.

Trades and field crews

Electricians, plumbers, landscapers, HVAC, solar. A job list on a crew member's phone, each job a folder for time, receipts, photos and the invoice, instead of a field-service subscription priced for a company ten times your size.

Wineries, farms and ranches

Orders that come in by phone and text today, a tasting-room or club list in a spreadsheet, a delivery schedule on a whiteboard. One app, with a real database behind it, that the whole crew can use at once.

Shops with a legacy system

An auto shop, a parts counter, a medical or dental office with a database nobody dares replace. Studio builds a customer portal or front end that reads the existing data, so old and new run side by side.

Consultants, advisors and agencies

A CRM with only the parts you use: tasks, deals, time and billing, client portals, on your own domain. Built the way your practice actually runs, not the way a vendor's template assumes.

Restaurants, salons and hospitality

A site that takes bookings, a waitlist, a loyalty list. Start with the page; the same project can grow into the system you run the business on.

Chapters, clubs and nonprofits

A member app so one person stops being the human calendar. Dues, events, sign-ups and reminders in one place.

Idea to live app

Describe it. See it built. Run your business on it.

Most AI app builders stop when the code is written. Studio also runs what it builds, on its own server, with the phones, email and payments your business needs wired in by the builder.

1

Tell us how the business runs

In plain language, in person or on a call. Who the customers are, what you track, what happens from the first call to the invoice, and what goes wrong today.

2

Watch it get built

The builder writes it and shows it to you running. Chat on the left, your app on the right. Check it on a phone, because that is where your crew will use it.

3

Publish it on your own domain

A live address the same day. Its own server, backed up, with one-click rollback if a change goes wrong.

4

Keep changing it

Ask for next week's change next week. Build it yourself on a Studio plan, or have us build the first version with you.

The Studio builder chat on the left and the running app on the right: the user asks for a customer portal where clients can see open jobs and pay invoices, and the portal is live in the preview pane.
“Add a customer portal where clients can see their open jobs and pay invoices.” The portal, running, on the right. Demo workspace.
Who you're working with

A local builder, backed by people who run enterprise IT.

Phoenix Network Solutions has run private cloud and IT for regulated businesses since 2000. Studio is built and supported by a three-person Phoenix engineering team with more than 50 years of experience between us, and we run our own business on it: the marketing application Phoenix runs on was built here, phones, email and Stripe payments included.

The consulting, on-prem AI and Studio practice is run from Rohnert Park, Sonoma County. Engineering and 24/7 support are in Broward County, Florida. Your app runs on hardware we build and maintain ourselves in a SOC 2-audited data center, the same infrastructure as our enterprise clients' production systems.

The app you built for your business should not be less dependable than the systems around it. Same infrastructure, same people, same backups.

Need servers, private AI or an IT project rather than software? The same person handles that in the North Bay: IT consulting and on-prem AI in Sonoma County, Marin and Napa.

Questions from the North Bay.

Plans, pricing and the full FAQ are on the Phoenix Studio page.

Where is Phoenix Studio based?
Phoenix Studio is run from Rohnert Park in Sonoma County, California, by Phoenix Network Solutions. Our engineering and 24/7 support team is in Broward County, Florida, and the servers your app runs on are Phoenix-owned hardware in a SOC 2-audited data center. We work with businesses across Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties, and we will meet you in person.
Do you build custom CRM software for Sonoma County businesses?
Yes. A custom CRM is the most common thing people build first. Describe who your customers are, what you track and what happens from first contact to invoice, and the builder writes a CRM with only those parts. It runs on its own server with no per-seat subscription, and you can keep changing it.
Can you build an app for my business if I'm not technical?
Yes. You describe it and the builder writes it; you never see code unless you want to. Many North Bay owners build it themselves on a Studio plan. If you would rather we do the first version with you, we will, and the project stays yours to change afterwards.
What does custom software cost compared with a subscription?
Studio plans start at $99 a month for one live project, hosting, backups and rollback included, with a 30-day free trial. A phone number for your app is $29 a month per project and email is $9 a month per project. If we build the first version for you, that work is scoped and quoted separately; small fixed-fee builds are common.
Do you work in Marin and Napa as well as Sonoma County?
Yes. We are in Rohnert Park, so Marin and Napa are within an hour's drive. We serve the North Bay in person and the rest of the United States remotely.
Where does my app actually run?
On a dedicated server Phoenix owns, in a SOC 2-audited data center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the same facility that hosts our managed-hosting clients' production systems. Your data is not in a shared sandbox, and you can download your repository at any time.

Tell us what your business needs, over coffee.

Sonoma, Marin or Napa: tell us what the software needs to do and what you use today. We will meet you, help you get the first version running in Studio, and then it is yours to change.
